Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

There is no trial period. Free is permanently free, with no account and no card. If you move to Light or Pro, you store a card and pay from the first month.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. Upgrades are immediate, prorated. Downgrades apply from the next billing cycle.

Is VAT included?

No, prices shown are without VAT. Swiss customers see 8.1% VAT on the invoice.

What counts as a "session" in Free?

A single connection from client to host. Reconnecting counts as a new session. The 2-hour quota is the sum of all session times per calendar month.

Do I need a license per host?

Pro includes 100 hosts. The client side (supporter) needs a license — one subscription per technician. The host side (target devices) consumes from the host quota.

Auto-renewal?

Yes, subscriptions renew automatically. You can disable auto-renewal in the portal under "Subscription" any time.

Is prepaid a subscription?

No. You buy an amount and we deduct what you use. There is no monthly charge, no minimum term and no notice period. If you do nothing for six months, you pay nothing for those six months.

How is usage calculated?

Two items: CHF 0.20 per started minute of connection, and CHF 0.30 per host and month for keeping a paired host permanently reachable. Availability is billed by the day — a host that was never online costs nothing.

How long does credit stay valid?

24 months from purchase, each purchase separately. The oldest credit is always spent first so that as little as possible expires. The portal shows you when each purchase runs out.

What happens at zero?

Connections are no longer possible and your hosts go offline. As soon as you top up they come back on their own — no re-pairing, and nothing to do on the devices.

Do I have to store a card?

No. You pay for each purchase individually by credit card. A payment method is stored only if you explicitly switch on automatic top-up — and even then there is at most one automatic charge every 24 hours.

Is prepaid or a subscription better value?

Around 100 connected minutes a month is the turning point against Light. Connect regularly and a subscription costs less; help out occasionally and credit does. Both are available side by side.
